A bold identity for a world-class institution in creativity. We built a festival identity and campaign that celebrates the vibrant energy of the next generation of creatives, at the outset of their careers.
Each year 1,300 creative graduates leave NTU and set off into the world to pursue their craft. As a creative studio and graduates ourselves, we were very pleased to be approached to create an annual identity and campaign for the Creative Faculties department. Covering 23 courses from Architecture and Fine Art to Fashion, Theatre and Film, the event coincided with a 175th Anniversary which we weaved into the identity.
Exploring the idea that graduation is only the beginning of the journey as a creative practitioner, we created the name Outset. Running with this concept we used a bold typographic style to gain instant recognition on campus and across the city. The rollout included a set of bespoke and DIY-friendly way-finding for students to construct on-site alongside an array of digital media ads, window displays, flags and printed materials that worked alongside social and email marketing.
